WHY INCLUDE QBTEST
An Additional Perspective in ADHD Assessment

ADHD assessment draws on many sources of information: what you describe, what others observe, your history, and your provider's clinical judgment. QbTest contributes one more source — objective measurement — to that process.
Additional insight into attention and activity patterns
Objective detail about focus and movement during a structured task.
Objective information to support clinical understanding
Measurable data that sits alongside the clinical interview.
A more informed discussion with your provider
Results give you and your provider a shared reference point for conversation.
Support for a comprehensive evaluation
“QbTest does not replace the clinical interview, and it does not diagnose ADHD on its own. It supports a fuller conversation about what you are experiencing.”
One piece of a broader assessment, considered together with everything else.
THE PROCESS
What to Expect During Your Assessment
Every evaluation begins with conversation. QbTest is one part of a process designed to understand the whole person.

ADHD TESTING & EVALUATION
A Clearer Understanding of ADHD Starts With the Right Evaluation
Understanding ADHD Through QbTest
Understanding attention, activity, and impulse-control challenges begins with a thoughtful evaluation. Emerge Wellness Center offers a supportive approach to ADHD assessment, incorporating QbTest as part of a broader clinical evaluation.

A conversation-led evaluation — QbTest adds information to the discussion, never in place of it.
THE ASSESSMENT
What Is QbTest?
QbTest is a computerized assessment that provides objective measurements related to attention, activity, and impulsivity. While a person completes a short, structured task on screen, the system records how consistently they respond and how much they move.
For parents, adults, and anyone new to ADHD testing, the idea is straightforward: rather than relying only on description and recollection, QbTest adds measurable information to the conversation. It can give healthcare professionals an additional point of reference during an ADHD evaluation.
At Emerge Wellness Center, results are never interpreted on their own. Your provider reviews them alongside your history, your day-to-day experience, and the concerns that brought you in — then discusses what those findings may mean for you.
Computer-based and non-invasive
Measures attention, activity, and impulsivity
Reviewed alongside clinical information
Attention
During a structured task, the assessment records how steadily a person responds and where attention may drift. It describes patterns across the activity rather than a single moment.
01
QbTest gathers objective information in three core areas. Each contributes a piece of the picture your provider considers.
Results are presented as patterns for a clinician to interpret — not as a score that stands on its own.
What Does QbTest Measure?
Activity
Movement is objectively measured while the task is completed — detail that can be difficult to observe or describe in everyday conversation.
01
WHAT IT LOOKS AT
Impulsivity
The task captures how quickly and accurately responses are made, offering insight into impulse-control patterns during the assessment.
01
IMPORTANT CLINICAL INFORMATION
If you have questions about how QbTest fits into your care, your provider can walk you through it.
QbTest is one component of a comprehensive ADHD evaluation. It does not independently diagnose ADHD. Diagnosis requires a clinical assessment by a qualified healthcare professional, considering symptoms, history, and other relevant information.
